How TNT works

Free to play.
Prizes are optional.

Play free matches

Standard matches have no entry fee. You play for XP, levels and your skill rating, not for money.

Optionally enter a VIP room

VIP rooms have a fixed entry fee in TNT credits and fixed prizes for the top finishing places, shown before you join. Prizes are funded from entry fees and total less than the fees collected. A VIP room starts only when it is full.

Withdraw winnings

You can withdraw eligible prize credits from the TNT wallet after review. Withdrawals need a verified email, have a $10 minimum and are reviewed for fraud before they are paid.

TNT credits

TNT credits are the platform currency used in the TNT wallet. Under the Terms of Service, 1 TNT credit is equivalent to 1 US dollar. Deposits and withdrawals happen in the TNT wallet, which shows the payment methods currently available. Identity verification may be required for larger withdrawals, and the Terms set out the rules.

Skill, not chance

TNT has no random cash rewards. In a VIP room, prizes go by final match placement, which comes from how well each player performs. Laws on paid-entry skill competitions vary by country. TNT's paid features are for adults only and may not be used where local law prohibits them.

Game modes

TNT game modes

This is the current line-up. Modes are marked as playable in the closed alpha or still in development.

Playable in alpha

Free For All

Every player for themselves. Free For All is the mode being played in the closed alpha, both as free matches and as VIP rooms.

In development

Team Deathmatch

Two teams compete for eliminations. Matchmaking already supports Team Deathmatch, and it is not yet open to alpha testers.

In development

Search & Destroy

A round-based objective mode. Matchmaking supports it, and it is in development.

In development

Duos & Squads

Team queues for playing with friends. Both are in development.

Earlier TNT Studio pages mentioned a Battle Royale mode. Battle Royale is not part of TNT's current line-up. We will announce mode changes on the updates page.

Progression

Skill rating & progression

Every TNT profile tracks XP, a level, a rank tier and a skill rating that changes with your match results. Your public profile shows your game stats, so other players can see how you have performed.

The 11 TNT ranks

TNT has 11 rank tiers. Every player starts as Shadow Recruit and moves up by earning XP in matches. The highest rank is Supreme Apex.

Fair play

How TNT prevents cheating

Real-money competition only works if it is fair. Cheating in TNT is stopped at two levels: the rules and the systems that enforce them.

  • Server-side anti-cheat. TNT checks matches on its own game servers, not only on players' PCs. Game servers are attested and send signed, replay-protected match telemetry. Movement, combat and awareness signals are analysed with network lag taken into account, and suspicious cases go to a human review queue. Nobody is banned automatically during the alpha.
  • Machine-learning fraud detection. TNT Studio runs its own anti-fraud engine. It uses gradient-boosted (XGBoost) and anomaly-detection (Isolation Forest) models to score player behaviour and withdrawal requests.
  • Reviewed withdrawals. Payouts can be held for fraud review before they are sent, and identity verification may be required.
  • Clear rules. The Terms of Service ban aimbots, wallhacks and macros, along with exploiting bugs, collusion, match-fixing, multiple accounts and using VPNs to manipulate matchmaking.
  • Real consequences. A fair-play violation can mean account suspension and loss of the account balance.

Every match earns progression such as XP, levels and a skill rating. Is TNT related to TNT Sports or other "TNT" games?

No. TNT the shooter is made by TNT Studio Ltd and has no connection to TNT Sports, TNT the TV network, or browser games with "TNT" in their names.
